Crimping ferrule (or as they are also called – “crimps”, “sleeves”, “rings”) are designed for crimping high pressure hydraulic hoses.
1SN/2SN/ crimped hose couplings (without stripping the outer layer) are designed for pressing high pressure hoses with one or two metal braids of the respective types. In this case, stripping the outer or inner layer is not required, which significantly reduces the hose’s pressing process. This is the main difference between the technology of pressing hoses under the DIN standard and GOST standard.
Most often, in the manufacture of high pressure hoses, universal crimp sleeves are used. They are suitable for pressing both 1SN hoses, as well as 2SN. This simplifies the pressing process and reduces the number of couplings in stock.
